I always get a kick out of the global warming people. We are literally one volcanic eruption away from another little ice age.

Why is the past 10 years represented as long on the x axis as about 400 years for everything prior? You realize you aren’t really showing anything by doing this?

And no legit X axis. They’ve blown up the last 100 years to 5x the scale of the rest of it.

So we are 6 degrees warmer than the ice age.

Thank God!

The bigger question is, what does the Democrat’s climate expert say:

I'm not sure why it is so controversial to say that cutting down rainforests, dumping garbage in the oceans, and burning large amounts of fossil fuels is bad for the environment and is leading to negative consequences for our race.

Hey, Cliff and Randy put a lot of effort into that chart.
It looks like a Ninth Grade Science Fair project.

They only missed one item of global interest in their notes:

1967- Beatles release “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.

I want to know why "immediate action" must be taken. If you buy the whole "our SUVs are killing the planet" bullshite (which i don't), warmer climate and more CO2 means life thrives. More plant life, animal life, sea life, etc... Agriculture accelerates, the soil is more fertile. Why is this a bad thing? CO2 is not a pollutant. Only the left considers it a pollutant so they can enact major tax bills.

I remember the summer of 1101 B.C. like it was yesterday. It was hot as hell and a long summer. I lost three wives and 34 goats that year.

I would have loved to seen east of the treeline as a first human. The old growth forest would have rivaled the Rockies in terms of beauty.

Because none of this:

Is happening.

to say that cutting down rainforests

Not happening. Nor is "cutting down rainforests" detrimental to the environment. Removal of overgrowth is very healthy for the planet and life. Cutting down areas of forests and then allowing those areas to grow back is beneficial to all life on this planet.

dumping garbage in the oceans

Is someone for that? Other than the tolerant lefties on the left coast who have a whirlpool of trash in the Pacific.

and burning large amounts of fossil fuels

What is an appropriate amount? What is "small" and what is "large"?

quote:

s bad for the environment and is leading to negative consequences for our race.

Because that is not what is being pushed. This is the guise for reduction of personal freedoms, and massive increases in taxes. And it really doesn't make any sense when leftists try to impose this in only the US, when we are no where near the worst polluter on the globe. And secondly, that statement you made, is the same statement every other mouth breather makes when the global warming community is challenged. "Think of our future"...well, a warmer planet means more agriculture which means more food, which means more sustainability of human life.

Unless you have numbers to prove this, then you are simply making shite up. Science (there's that word again) proves that warmer temperatures means more plant life. More plant life means more animal life. These are 100% scientific and historical facts about this planet. Unless you have evidence to contradict known biological scientific fact, then you are simply regurgitating more leftist word vomit.

Show me current rainforests completely "cut down".

Also, show me previously "cut down" rainforests that remain barren. I'll wait.

I mean, you're arguing that deforestation isn't happening. That is so silly, where am I supposed to go with that?

Because the issue has been politicized and weaponized. It's not about the environment it's about capitalism and Western lifestyles. Unfortunately the idiots on the right engage with the idiots on the left and we kind of miss out on the bigger picture that about 50% of civilization decided to live in coastal regions.

Whether the problem is caused by man, the sun, or is just a natural cycle, we have a vested interest in trying to control it and not have half of civilization go under water. Headlines this week were that Solar is now cheaper than Coal. Technology is how we will solve this. It will be a lot easier to invent more efficient, less impactful technology than to convince people to not run the AC as much or drive a ridiculously small car.
