I converted everything over to Ego. Mower, edger, weedeater, and blower. No issues at all with power, and I love not having gas, and/or gas/oil mixing.

Batteries do start acting up at about 4 years or so. There are some tricks on line to get them back working. They are fully warrantied up to 2 years I think. But I didn't mind buying a new battery after 4 years. I watch them on Amazon, they'll go on sale.

Just make sure you register everything online as you buy them, so that customer service will honor the warranties.

I'll just say, I'm happy converting. I do wish they would make the batteries last longer. But as far as power goes, they crush the competitors. Their equipment power is equal to gas powered, IMO.

I’m all in on the Ego train with my .6 acre. Blower, edger, weedeater, pole saw, fan. I have multiple batteries, two 5amp and a 2.5amp so my son and I can both use tools at the same time. I rarely have a battery go fully dead unless I hit the turbo too much on the blower.

I have an Ego trimmer, weedeater, blower, and chainsaw. I like them but the batteries are expensive. I’m 66 and tired of priming and pulling cords.

I have the Ego lawnmower, string trimmer, and blower. Been using them for 2 years now. Can cut my yard on 1 charge. I have a moderate sized backyard for living in a subdivision. If I had to guess 0.5 acres.

Like someone mentioned earlier, register them online in case you need to use your warranty. No issues so far. The string trimmer is so easy to reload.

I learned a trick with my blower and oldest boys products. Dont keep them attached until you need it.

I was curious about pole saw and chainsaw. Would be nice just to worry about bar and chain oil

This. It auto feeds with a button. Stick a bunch of line through each sides holes until you have an even amount hanging out both sides and press a button. I love it. My Ego blower is a beast too. Best platform on the market for yard tools

I ended up with a bunch of Dewalt lawn tools. Free batteries from work, so it made sense.

I have used that damn little chainsaw more than I ever thought possible. I went out yesterday, picked up the gas saw, felt how heavy it was, then grabbed the Dewalt for cutting up a few limbs. Their hedge trimmer is money, their pole saw works surprisingly well, and the trimmer will wear me out before it burns through two 5.0v batteries.

If you are planning to go all in Lowes has one of their trimmers for 299 comes with a 4Ah battery and a free 2.5Ah battery included. They may have other deals I just noticed that one.

I have an Ego:

Chainsaw (ditched an old gas saw)
Hedge Trimmer (ditched a wired trimmer)
Blower (ditched a gas blower)
Trimmer (KEPT my gas Trimmer..both have their places)
Pole Saw. (ditched an inferior black and decker)

Generally each one comes with a battery.

They all perform admirably.

Sticking with my Honda gas mower for now.

Buy Milwaukee m18 power tools. Go with the 6.0 or 8.0 amp battery for those tools, as they are the bigger and more robust lithium battery, 21700 compared to the other milwaukee batteries that has the 18650 lithium battery. Supposedly the forge batteries are the better ones but a coworker has them and isn't impressed as they cost a lot more. I got the circular saw, weed eater and blower and the 6.0 works great and for a while. I just made the switch to the battery weedeater from the gas echo one (had like 10-15 years) and actually really impressed with the power of it. Plus the heads can be changed out and a pole saw can be used on it.

Im looking at a pole saw and chainsaw to buy. Anyone on here have experience with those?

I have this little gem from Harbor Freight. It's not a commercial tool, and I only use it a few times a year, but it is well worth $60.

I've also had this electric chain saw for a few years, use it 4 or 5 times a year and it works great

I have the 18 inch

I have a few outdoor power equipment platforms that are over 20 years old and just about everyone of them starts on 2 pulls...electric is cool and has its place but those batteries aren't going 20+ years

I have a Milwaukee trimmer for around the house, its ok but I don't think it will last half as long as my Echo or Shindaiwa sadly
