And over priced.

Bought the newest, greatest, and most expensive Dyson stick vacuum to go along with our Dyson corded vacuum. The Dyson worked fine for awhile but the battery didn’t last long. Then it was one problem after another, replace battery, etc. When I would hang it up on the wall it would regurgitate everything it just picked up. Four years later both Dyson vacuums are retired and we now have Shark vacuums for less than half the cost of the Dyson. They work just fine.

Save your money. Don’t buy Dyson.

I'll give you an upvote. Sharks have better suction and half the price.

No problem with my Dyson's.

Just ordered a replacement battery for the stick. Works like new and probably 5+ years old.

I’m surprised an expert at sucking can’t find a good vacuum.

I've had the same Dyson Animal DC07 since 2005. I've had to replace some parts on it over the years, but it's been far cheaper than buying a new vacuum. Part availability and ease of changing them is one of the best things about them.

Still going strong.

HOw about that Dyson $430 hairdryer. I saw it at Ulta.
IT's worth maybe $150 and its cool but not worth $430.

Yea, I do. Are they expensive, sure. Are they worth the price? Debatable. But overrated? Mine is the best vacuum I've ever owned and I'm glad I bought it. So, no, I don't consider it overrated.

We have two Dyson vacuums. Worth every penny.

But of course we bought one at Sams and the other off demo clearance at Conns for a fraction of retail.

I like Dyson considerably more than Shark.

That said, I like the Roborock we have better than the last Dyson we had.

Yes, I agree. I've used Dyson and Oreck. Both are convenient (upright) when compared to Rainbow (canister), however, neither are good at actually cleaning and lifting up dirt, dander, dust mites, etc. from carpet or rugs.

It's mind boggling how much shite comes out of carpet when using a Rainbow after using an Oreck (or Dyson). It's as if one didn't even attempt to clean before.

And you can throw Shark into this mix as well. The majority of vacuum cleaners suck.
