I was drunk in the passenger seat. My buddy got stopped for a rear license plate light. He has never drank alcohol in his life that I know of, he was driving.

I was the designated driver one night and got pulled over. I failed the alphabet backwards and counting your fingers, (you have to count your pinky twice) I finally asked for a breathalyzer and blew 0.0. The cop was an a-hole.

Ah yes, because breathalyzers are 100% accurate, right? I was 22 at the time, my blood test was under the limit, I clearly wasn’t inebriated, and I haven’t had a drop of alcohol in 6 years, a-hole.

I passed the test back in my LSU days with the trooper looking down at me with that big brimmed cover they wear.
I was nervous as hell and couldn’t help but picture myself being cuffed and dropped in the back of that Crown Vic. At that time I had no idea where the EBR Parish prison was even located.
My vehicle was full of alcohol, I was of legal age, and told the trooper that I was heading to a party where we were going to drink later that Friday night (all true).
Earlier that afternoon we were at an apartment near LSU where some girl made me a bourbon and coke, and it was so strong I took a sip and put it down.
The trooper was very professional beforehand and really chill after I passed.
He still gave me a ticket for improper turning, and told me the only reason he was giving it was because the lady I t-boned was giving him the evil eye.
I still count my blessings of that day. Being much more mature now, I would have had the same bourbon but without the coke.

They want you to say something stupid on camera about how you can't do these tests sober. Like everything else with cops, it's a trick for you to incrimate yourself. Why not saying anything is important.
I wonder what the tests are for people smoking the reffer is. Especially since that dank weed smell isnt easy to hide.

I have cancer and lost 75 pounds during treatment and recovery.
With all due respect, a loss of strength and balance should be expected, but directly to your point, can also make you appear inebriated or on other drugs when in fact you are cold sober and just trying to crawl home from MDA.
You never know what other folks are battling through.

I passed it once. Cop said “I know you’re fricked up but you nailed it. Leave your car here and call a ride.”

No, it's not.
I was DD one night and had had half a beer much earlier in the night. Get pulled over (around 3 am), in what was purely a fishing expedition. Get out of the car because there's drunk folks in the backseat and it smells like booze.
Pass the tests, pass the breath. Cop doesn't believe any of it, and i h get arrested, anyway. Breath test at the station, then a blood draw at the hospital.
Spend the night in jail. Still get charged with a DUI by the county DA.
This shite is a racket. You get pulled over in the wrong town, you're going to jail. Simple as.

nope could never pass one. The wife and I said noway and we don't drink. Just do the test and tell the you want a blood test.
