Fair enough but I’m not a Westbank Wanker.

The driver of that dump truck should be sent straight from the hospital to jail and his company forced to pay for any response and inspection costs that would be borne by tax payers.

Driving with his dump bed raised. Idiot. No wonder all these shysters are millionaires

I would think the load would be the same if the cars were moving.

I am talking about in the early evening during the weekdays when traffic is backed up and the whole bridge is filled with vehicle

the bridge is designed to be filled with cars. Its actually designed to be filled with vehicles much heavier than a regular commuter car.

does not hurt the structure at all, over time?

This goes to the service life. Yes the bridge is over its service life, that is why the intracoastal bridge has received an "F" rating for years.

LA-1 intracoastal bridge. its about 200 or 300 yards south of I-10 on the Port Allen side of Mississippi.

I used to use the boat launch under there and you could see daylight all over through that bridge.

The boat launch is under the north side of the Intracoastal and this happened on the south side where there is a frontage road that goes under it.

So far, it doesn’t look too different from the typical rush hour in BR going in reverse.

They need to be more specific. LA 1 has more than 1 bridge over the intracoastal.
