See, I would just say that the pilot announcements in general are annoying and 99.9% of the time they are superfluous. If I was on a bus, I wouldn't need to hear from the driver.
As Seinfeld said in his classic bit on this - "just do whatever the hell you have to do and end up where it says on the ticket."

The person who stops about 10 feet from pulling out in traffic, then sits sits sits sits .

Just ran across one.

If I’m by myself, I don’t slow down and just say, “We’ll talk soon” and never stop leaving. My wife falls for this everyone which causes us to get into a fight on the way home because I’m an a-hole.
Oh cool...we have the same wife and in-laws. My MIL is a pro at this...from remembering a question she forgot to ask, to an update she almost forgot to last second packing away leftovers we don't want. I just keep walking to the car and get in and I've stopped feeling rude about it.
also adding to the list...people who take 2 steps into a grocery store and stop to get situated blocking the entrance
