Drugs these mass murders were on. It was suspected that the columbine guys heavily on antidepressants way back in ‘99.

It’s sooo frustrating that these drugs help so many but they do cause some to lose it and go postal. The drug companies will be sure the public never knows what there guys/(or girls in some instances) are on. I see all this shite over the news and wonder why the drugs they are on are never discussed.

Do they, now. Where’s the data on “going postal” that you’re speaking of.

Does that confidentiality carry over once someone is deceased?

Would toxicology reports be covered from a coroner?

Because no one knows what they are on?

You want the media to speculate which drugs the mass murderers may or may not have been taking?

A judge can order the records. The confidentiality is not absolute.

Why can’t they release the drugs these guys are prescribed is the topic. If you think I’m a moron that’s fine. But if you don’t wanna talk about it GTFO. Calling me a moron just makes you look like a moron.

You never hear Dylan Klebold was prescribed so and so antidepressant. But he was.

It’s confidential.

Does HIPAA state they can release in court but not to the public?

Sure a Judge can subpoena records if a case calls for it. A judge can't just subpoena medical records and then release the info to the public if that's what you're asking.

Not sure what case would in this case.

These sort of cats are on Seroquel or Other antipsychotics for sure... it’s a shame that Pharma gets a pass and everyone only blames the NRA and trump

What many of you seem to have a hard time with is the chicken and the egg problem. Did these drugs CAUSE it or were these guys on the drugs because they already had issues? I would bet it was the latter in almost all cases.

You’re right there’s no way to prove what actually caused this behavior but for the most part... as much as the guns are part of the problem... the people carrying out these attacks also have mind altering drugs in their systems as well

Is fire a problem too? Japanese guy burned down a building full of cartoonists.

Are knives a problem? EU, Japan have both seen mass knife attacks.

Are autos the problem? Terrorists have used vehicles for mass slaughter here and in EU. Then there's the NY limo whole family wiped out, and bus crash mass killings...how about trains are they the problem too?

Lunatics with a death wish toward self or others simply cannot be stopped short of strait jackets and chemical restraints.
