News media hasn't reported on this that virologists everywhere are talking about because it blows up asymptomatic being contagious, which they aren't. LINK

It would make sense to have the same type of test for the seasonal flu as well, since tens of thousands also die from that every year.

not sure what they Ghey guy was going to say but I can't agree more.
I see all this stuff about 'viral loads' being similar but who cares about that. Without inflammation (i.e., symptoms), unless you're swabbing your nasal passages and wiping it on things, you're unlikely to be expelling the virus. It's the same reason contact tracing studies have not been able to correlate COVID positive kids (under 15) with transmission of the virus.
