I know a doctor who killed her husband because she was driving a golf cart drunk. She got remarried 6 months later. Disgusting.

I'm not victim blaming as the drunk driver is the only one at fault, but getting a golf cart out on roadways is risky business. You're taking the same risk a cyclist or motorcyclist is taking as far as safety is concerned. You have nothing to protect you. No seat belts, no airbags, no crumple zones, nada.

This is so sad. Eye for an eye should be the legal standard whenever someone kills or maims another.
We rent a golf cart at 30A every time we go. It always feels safe, but this is one of my fears. The rouge drunk idiot flying down 30A at 60mph. It sounds like this area is like 30A with low speed limits and lots of street legal golf carts.

This is a sad story. This guy should never see the outside world based on what he has done. However,I watch golf carts with kids riding in them constantly not stopping at stop signs. Golf carts are so i vogue now that in some subdivisions you see more of them than the cars.

I've seen quite a few close calls on Gulf Beach Drive in Destin involving kids running stop signs in golf carts.

I saw two boats collided last night near Freeport. Apparently one of the bats was unlit and the other boat hit it head on killing the two people that were in the unlit boat. Others were thrown over board by the collision but rescued

Read the article. Mayor talks about the issue of golf carts and never once mentions the drunk driver that ran a stop sign. Typical politician who just sees more laws as the answer instead of enforcing the ones we already have.

They had a person with 2 prior DWIs drive through a ditch ND into my sister in laws house.
Totaled the house. She was just barely missed.
