DoorDash driver did have a weapon but had it holstered on his butt crack. Once hot head dad assaulted him and felt the weapon he panicked and realized he was a dead man if DD driver got to his weapon to protect himself .. DD driver would have been 100% justified in popping hot head dad’s top for attacking him.
While the story that Hot Head Dad has concocted makes himself out to be some hero, he ain’t. Seems trashy. You can’t just assault someone for knocking on your door and asking for a cash tip

This is some kind of hot take. The guy showed up at the house drunk and belligerent to harass the customer because he felt the tip she gave him was insufficient. When he refused to leave and the father went to see him out, he felt the gun and realized the situation was more dire than he thought, and he escalated accordingly. There’s a reason the DD driver went to jail and not the father.

Some of you are legitimately stupid and I wonder how you manage to get by in your daily life. This a-hole showed up to someone’s house drunk, armed, and belligerent and was harassing the homeowners and his family. You absolutely can assault someone who is essentially threatening your family at your home while armed and refusing to leave.

It’s disturbing that there are people in this country who think a man can’t defend his family and home from drunken, screaming, armed assholes who refuse to leave….and they’re allowed to vote.
