Drug 7-OH derived from Kratom plant.

Apparently there is this highly powerful and addictive drug that is freely available at gas stations and smoke shops and places that is basically a highly concentrated form of whatever the drug is in the Kratom plant called 7-OH. Could be a new drug epidemic starting because of this stuff because of the unregulated and highly addictive nature of it.
Anyone heard of this or have any experience with it? Seems like a very weird and bad situation if true.

It is for the opioid fiends.
I really don't see a problem. Your synthetic opioids made from pharmaceutical companies and prescribed by doctors is why this is a thing.

Yeah. It’s now outlawed in LA. Look up Feel Free.
Many colleges including UCLA promoted it as a wellness drink. Saw it in many nutrition shops years ago and tried it out.
It’s like an opioid but due to the combo of kratom and kava has the effects of a stimulant like adderall. Destroys your liver has withdrawal symptoms similar to heroin. Stay far away.

Kratom in itself is relatively safe, but the synthetic bullshite they are pushing is crazy addictive and really hard to get off. May be a better choice than opioids and heroin, but isn’t anything they should be selling at gas stations next to boner pills.

I do know that any place selling that isnt allowed to process credit cards legally. Visa and MC will pull services if found to be the case.

This. I take Kratom powder from a supplier in California. It’s extremely effective for me. You definitely need to take low doses and frequent tolerance breaks. The 7-OH and the concentrates of Kratom are where folks can find themselves in trouble.
I would rather take something natural rather than a pharmaceutical if possible.

It is slowly being banned state by state.
Will probably be federally banned in due time.

I occasionally indulge in some well sourced pure kratom leaf. In my experience one can safely use and enjoy it without negative effects if you dont make it a habit. Its addictive though so you really have to exercise self control and well like a lot of addictive drugs, many folks cannot stop themselves from making it a destructive habit.
7-OH, from my brief experience is different. Its so potent that even a half of the "recommended" dose was like taking a high potency prescription opioid. Regular Kratom leaf gives me a caffeine like buzz with a slight bit of opiate euphoria. This was on another level. I was blown away by the effects and that this could be sold legally to the public. The next day I was craving another dose and said frick it and tossed the rest of the pack in the trash. No way I was going down that path. Most experienced Kratom users I've spoken with hate it b/c of its association with the regular product and negative heat its brought on what is already considered a controversial product.

All of this is true for me except that I have never tried 7-OH.

I took kratom (greens, in pill form) for several years but eventually I couldn't control my intake anymore to where I was taking it almost daily and was taking a dozen at a time. I forced myself to quit and haven't had any in almsot a year now but I think I'm going to get back into it. I have a lot more overall healthier habits now than I did even a year ago so I think I can better control it.
Kratom rocks, if you're smart with it.

I've got a couple good things going for me for this go around.
-for starters it's not legal in my state, so I can't just go to the gas station and pick up more. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and will buy a small bag, I think 15 or 20 is the smallest you can get. That'll be a good little toe tap back into the pool.
-Previously I would take it mainly in the mornings before work if I had a lot going on, which ultimatley morphed into just taking them eveyr morning. However I don't see that repeating because my normal routine is much different now. I workout in the mornings (havne't worked out in teh last like 15 years until this past year) so I'll already be starting off on a good note and with energy when the day starts.
Really the only reason I've considered getting back is becuase fo the weekends. Our two youngsters are a damn handful so having a little performance enhancing boost to run aroudn with them all over the place would be welcomed.

Really brother? Where have you been? States have already banned it bc it is 10 plus times stronger than morphine.
