Dont fool yourself brother Kratom just as it is in powder form is highly addictive as well. Just like eating lortabs. Yep I know from first hand experience, it is helpful and harmful at the same time.

Yes it is addictive. I take 4 grams about 3 times a week with 2 week tolerance breaks. Way better than oxycodone IMO.

I have been taking it since 2019. Currently on 3-week break, but I have things coming up that I will need focus and energy for so I will take it then.

Just like micro dosing shrooms; you must take breaks although I don’t think shrooms are addictive like Kratom can be.

Better than pill popping.

Seriously bud, if you tickled that tiger's tail before and it bit you, I would just stay away, but if you are going to try it again, maybe consider leaf powder so you can adjust/limit and control your dose and limit your intake to just a couple times a month.

Definitely leaf powder and nothing else. No concentrates or 7-OH.

Yea those concentrates, shot extracts, even some "enhanced powder" are super potent and a lot of folks get into trouble quick with those too. I guess Im somewhat lucky in that if I take any form of it consecutive days it really messes up my digestive system something fierce so I cant really become an addict.

Right. Good point about the enhanced powder! Honestly, Kratom makes me more functional than anything I take whether botanical or pharmaceutical.

I feel like it’s just a matter of time before it’s banned federally. It’s too effective.

It's pathetic that we need nanny government outlawing substances because some people have so little self control.

I've taken kratom 1x weekly for years and never had a problem or temptation to go daily.

So many supplements can be effective if done right and responsible.

I see posts like this and just assume it’s some sort of astroturfing. Who cares either way? Alcohol is as dangerous as any drug and kills hundreds of thousands of Americans a year and destroys families. Where’s the outrage?

Facts. Alcohol is far more dangerous and addictive than Kratom.

This is why I have only been getting Kratom from the same place in California since 2019. But I worry about this type of real nasty stuff getting into legit pharmacies Almost as much as getting it in Kratom from a supplier in California that provides lab data on each batch.

Just plain ole Kratom leaf I think one could make that argument. The problem like we were discussing is the high Mitragynine/7-hydroxymitragynine formulations that are ubiquitous at every supplier. Its unfortunate the industry wont self regulate and continues to pump out ever more potent product until we get truly dangerous shite like 7ohm that triggers panic and bans ....but I guess that is the nature of the beast.

Plain leaf is fine. Synthetic was created from demand because of bans and restrictions. New bans and restrictions create new analogs. The government can’t keep up. The synthetic stuff is probably fine too. A large percentage of our senior population takes opiates every day. There’s just some people who will do anything to get high, including sniff gasoline.
