If she leave early enough to get through ATL before afternoon drive time it usually isn't bad going straight through Atlanta on 85.

That really isn't a bad trip at all, maybe 10:30 total.

Go to the Biltmore estate while you’re there.

Take the I-59 route to Cleveland, TN, then take the highway 74 route through the mountains to I40 then on to Asheville. It'll take you longer but you shouldn't hit any delays. Check the road conditions before you go.

That's why I felt like I could tell him about the filthy sex I had with his whore of a mother.

It's the best kept secret in Carolina.

She's better off going through Atlanta than up past Chattanooga, through Knoxville and then over I-40. There's a load of snow on the Smokey Mountains down (at the least to 5000') and a lot of I-40 is in the shade (of the mountains) so any melted water there will freeze.
At least going the eastern route, it only gets altitude at the SC/NC line.

At least take water and several blankets in the car, just in case.

Concord is east of the Charlotte metro area. You must be thinking of a different place. But there’s an airport in Asheville, surely it’s serviced by Atlanta. Can’t be that expensive.

Actually, come to think of it, allegiant might fly straight to ashville. Look into it, but even if they don't, it's cheaper to fly to Concord and drive than to just drive.

Air service into Asheville is expensive - I often drive two hours to Charlotte-Douglas and catch Southwest.

Are you too poor to fly and rent a car?

I’m leaving tomorrow to go to Charlotte and I’m also coming back Sunday. I’ve got extra room for her and some luggage if you would like for me to give her a ride up there. As of right now I’m going by myself but would love some company.

There is no snow here on I 40 in Knoxville, go I 40 to I 81 then take I 26 via Johnson City to Asheville if you are worried about the roads through the mountains past Cocke County, TN. That’s when you start hitting the switchbacks.

Why haven't you reached out to me?

Is it because of my failure to make the 20 poster list?

You’re not even sniffing the top 100 list.

I made the first 100 on your wife's list... but just barely. Speaking of sniffing... she could use a bath.

This! This! This!

We went the weekend before Halloween. Everything said is the quote is 100% accurate! Even Sunday afternoon traffic in Atlanta is horrible!
