Be glad you have such magnificent scenery in Louisiana. In Florida we just have to settle for Britton Hill.

No, as an individual hill. But the general area of hills is kinda nice.

just learned Louisiana has a "mountain." I Googled and saw the elevation is only 535

I met someone from the east coast while climbing Mt. Hood.

We were talking and he said his life goal was to summit the highest peak in every state.

I mentioned Driskill and said he had walked to the top.

I didn’t read this whole thread, but if I remember right Driscoll mountain was just a big hill with a lot of towers on it. Nothing spectacular, but it is kinda cool to see the highest point in Louisiana.

Once he summits Driskill, he can try the treacherous hike up Woodall Mtn in Ms at 806 feet.

Hire a helicopter out of Ruston to take you to the summit and ski down.

Years ago there was a store at Bryceland just up the road that sold caps and T-shirts that said “Ski Mount Driskill.” Kinda wish I had bought the shirt now.

On a clear day from the north summit you can see all the way to downtown Simsboro

I've been to about 10 state high points and it's not close to the worst view.
