I was confused too. Why would you dress your own child in the opposing teams colors?

Maybe the kid is adopted

I had this discussion with my girlfriend.
I think that the colors/attire are a reflection of innate character, ie you're born a Tech or State and there is nothing that can be done about.
She thinks that the commercial is just stupid.

That's what annoyed me about the commercial too.

Who's the dad? Lil Sweet?
The commercial is absolute trash and I'm sick of seeing it non-stop. However, the theory of a hoe bag wife and Lil Sweet being the father is absolute gold.

It's as bad as the ones where they tried to make someone look like Prince.

The Lil Sweet commercials are fantastic. And even better considering it’s Justin Guarini (or whatever).
As for this commercial, I always took it as the mom was teaching the baby that shite. Never thought the baby was not the dad’s kid. Interesting take though.

The whole set of commercials is called "Fansville" and they're mocking popular drama TV shows. So you're going to see stupid TV tropes in all of the commercials.

New theory: baby is with baby Dad at tailgate. Mother of baby on a date with Dr. Pepper drinker. She's isn't sure who true Daddy is. Baby answer's it, State stinks.

I’d like to frick the other mom in those commercials. She is smoking ! The “let me smell your breathe” gal.
Not really Interesting side note, I went to high school with the guy playing the husband of the baby. Really cool dude.
She has nude out there on the internet

Fun fact: The guy that plays the dad is from Louisiana.

Has anyone else concluded that the Dr. Pepper commercial with the couple and their baby at football game alludes to the idea that the Mom may have fricked around on the assumed father? (and the kid is not his)

I just assumed she was actually a Tech fan and was only wearing State clothes to appease her husband.
Forgot that the commercial from last year was more obvious about her philandering ways.

I don't remember that commercial, but it clearly says wife was cheating with the BTC.

It's more a suggestion that your drunken slut of a wife drink more Dr. Pepper. (Hey, I know, they don't even know your wife.)
