Is Jim marrs a loon or incredibly intelligent?

Fun read. The leaps of faith you’d need to take to fully believe it are huuuuge... but elements are certainly true and the local folklore is fascinating even if not all factual

Read book on flight out of NOLA few years ago. Set it down when getting my bag from overhead. Guy behind me sees it (he’s in his 60s I’m guessing) and says that was his MD when he was a kid. Was a strange feeling. No - I don’t buy all the stuff said

I lived a couple of blocks from the old Public Health hospital on Tchoupitoulas when I was a kid. Always thought some strange shite went on in there.
