That is what happens when you hold a mega-event in a third-world country.
You live in Baton Rouge, sir. A “third-world country,” where no one would have an event of this magnitude in a million years. All of the same problems, many of them worse, with none of the charm.
You’re not very good at this.

Anyone else remember Bob Broadhead tossing out the idea of potentially pitching Tiger Stadium for a Super Bowl?

crazy wacko super liberal agenda
I'm seeing this about Latoya ITT, but I really don't understand what it means.
I really don't think simply doing nothing but stealing from the city could be considered crazy, wacko, or super liberal, or even be that much of an "agenda". It's just blatant theft and corruption. Latoya's not smart enough to have an actual, political, agenda. Don't give her too much credit.

I wasn't talking about Latoya, just Moreno - I think that was sort of the consensus here.
Your assessment of Teedy is the correct one, which is why some are speculating a "true believer" type could actually be worse.
ETA, and my reference to "other mayors" was to others in cities around the country. I guess I see where you might have been confused into thinking I was referencing Teedy amongst the "true believer" types. She ain't one, just a kleptocrat as you describe.

Probably referring to the state overall.

Yes. And the radio taking of how magical it will be with Super Bowl and MG. Don’t attempt Poydras either direction.

Why stop at BR? The entire state is, at best, a second world country, borderline third world.

These threads make me happy. Whenever a west coast city is brought up, the immediate response is that it’s a liberal shite hole. Problem is, most professionals are happy, healthy, and vibrant.
Locals in southern cities tend to be overweight, out of shape, managing broken homes, and miserable.
Be better. It starts with you! Southern cities rank last in every positive category. Yet everything else sucks. Hopefully we don’t black out the stadium like last time.
