If it was me, I might have considered not pressing charges if she would have shown some contrition and not lied.

The primary and active ingredient in all pepper sprays is the exact same thing we pour all over our food here in Louisiana.
Don't see what the problem is especially considering that the blue haired wacko sprayed pepper sauce on the outside of their food boxes.
Where did this happen? Are they a bunch of liberal Yankees?

While the active ingredient, capsaicin, is in food, pepper spray's concentration is far too high and includes solvents, making it extremely dangerous to ingest, potentially causing serious harm, not just a spicy sensation.

Higher concentration- Yep, obviously. .
Due to the fact that the spray is intended for the eyes, nose and mouth federal regulations restrict the solvent to harmless H2O, ethanol or isopro.
I'd be pissed if I saw that on my security cam and I'd make sure she was apprehended and prosecuted but I wouldn't be trying to make quick buck off of her innocent employer.

- she's a psychopath - zero remorse and not only does she hate the world, she hates herself.
- if it's midnight or around that, why are people so damn lazy they can't pull some food out of the freezer and cook it for themselves? It's much cheaper and safer. People are just stupid.
