Wouldn't one expect this to be a possible, if not probable consequence of a global nuclear war? Realizing the likelyhood of nuclear winter in the long run, wouldn't you also,plan for the possibility that there could be an initial spike in terperatures depending on where the strike had occurred?

The seeds didn't get wet, some water just got in the building. They keep the seeds stored under very cold temperatures from what I've read (one reason to put it in the artic) and the water that did make it into that area just froze and was scraped away.
