Meaning you took it off before going to practice or literally lost the ring hitting infield?
Lost it during practice...did not take it off before hand.
TBH, we assume it was during rounds of infield as we that would be the most logical time to us. But no idea when it actually came off during practice.

This pretty much sums up our stance on wedding rings.

Nice subtle brag. Did you score four touchdowns in one game

Never won one as a player, got close (Another subtle brag...lol) And the state championship was not in baseball btw.

Have you told your wife that you lost your rings when you were knuckles deep in a stripper's snatch?

1 fell in a concrete crack at work and I could not get it out
So you only lost 3...You still know where this one is at.
Edit....technically you really only lost one, but you have a rough guess of where its at.
Anyways, congrats on the new child coming into your life.

That's rough. We don't wear wedding rings. She may be emotional from pregnancy. But I would stop wearing it. It's an unnecessary expense. If you are going to hit strange you will do it with or without a ring.

We just found out she is pregnant with our first child
How far along is she?

She's been pretty emotional and going nuts because of this ring.
If you think she's nuts right now, just wait until those hormones get all screwed up in a few months.
Get a cheap ring and wear it. Once baby is born, you can do whatever the frick you want because you will no longer be important to her.

My husband and I both barely remember to wear our wedding rings. It's no big deal because we have always been that way, and we are rarely out without the other. However, you need to cut your wife a little slack. She's obviously hormonal (don't mention that to her though), probably not insecure, and her mind is inclined to worry. It may all be coincidental, but to her the timing is a concern. Just buy a super cheap ring and keep her happy. No brainer.

I only went 3 pages and didn't see, but what is this? Never heard of it.
I've been married for 20yrs now. Still on the same ring. Only time it comes off is when I play golf. Never lost it.

Is it because you're swingers?

I've never lost my ring in almost 10 years - at least not for more than a few minutes.
I have a dedicated place on my dresser where the ring goes if I'm in the shower or sleeping.
If I am out and about and I think I am in a situation where I might lose my ring - such as I'm working somewhere outsides where I need to take gloves off or work in a garden or something, I will either lock the ring in my glove box or if all else fails, put it on my keychain.
I'll also make two other points:
1) You do not want to pick a fight with a woman in the first or third trimester
2) Funny enough, more women flirt with me when I am wearing a ring, then when I am not.

You sound like a dumbass. I've had the same ring for close to 9 years, take it off for all kinds of activities, and haven't lost it once

Last week I was out of town for a conference at work, and honest to goodness, (perhaps after 6 or 7 too many beers) I put the ring on the nightstand as I was getting ready for bed and then I knocked the ring somehow off of the nightstand in the hotel room and it went behind it. The bedstand was somehow bolted in. It was late. I called front desk and they said they would send maintenance up the next morning to get it for me.
Get up next morning, go to some workshops. Get asked to do a "facebook live" thing so I do it. I'm standing in front of the phone camera and talking and I put my hands up for some gesture, no ring. Gets posted on facebook and I get tagged.
About 4 seconds later, I get a text from the wife asking why I'm not wearing my ring.

Had one for our first two years and lost it. Didn't wear one for 13 years, bought a titanium one and have worn it for last three years
Wife didn't care that I didn't wear one but she said she appreciates that I wear one now

Another suggestion: Ring tattoo
be careful that might start a spinoff thread: tattoo rigs trashy or not

We might be able to make an exception for someone who loses four rings in a year.
