So you’re just posting irrelevant stuff now that isn’t the subject of the stop in the OP?

Which is why I laugh at the thin blue line crowd. The cops will say “sorry, just following orders” while impeding your freedom. Just take a look at the UK.

If you don’t like the laws passed by your legislators and signed by your governor, work the system to change the law. Period. Why don’t you understand that?

So instead of the daughter possibly getting a warning or maybe a small fine, both parents get arrested, both their cars get towed, charges for both of them, fines, towing billes, lawyer.

And the daughter is still getting a fine or warning.

People are just too stupid.

We should have less laws. More laws only invites the police to find more "violations". Take it up with your state legislator. Cops are the wrong people to deal with .

Because just like the police, you both know less than 20% of those laws.

Better attitude? Cooperate, be polite and get your butt down the road.

A $100 ticket is not worth getting cuffed and jailed.

These people don’t think like us though. They think there shouldn’t be ANY ramifications for their actions.

Didn’t seem like the dad did much to get arrested. They knew the mom was an idiot before she got there. Why not tell her to stay home?

Think she would've complied?

No, but they practically invited her. I thought the first two officers seemed to be handling it fine and then their supervisor suddenly decided everyone was going to jail.

I guess we just get to pick and choose which laws are worthy of time. Tell me you are a Democrat without telling me you are a Democrat.

I’ve never voted for a democrat in my life. Also, I don’t enjoy licking government boots. Government is a necessary evil, and it is running amok.

By the way, ticketing is not about public safety anymore, but revenue collection.

This is another aspect of the hi and lo trust society conflict. Hi trust people resent attention from agents paid to treat everyone as lo trust people.

I don’t disagree with this at all, but we certainly need to stop trying to do it on the side of the road, and instead do it through legislation and community action. This is really getting out of hand.

This is a prime example of race problems in this country. We don't have a race problem as much as we have a problem race.
