We all feel the need, most of us just don't do it. Hugging and touching women at work is a power move. At a minimum it's a mental notch in your scorecard that you put your hand on her arm while you were talking or got a side-hug and she didn't object. Not saying that some women don't flirt and like attention from an attractive guy or a boss with power. But even then the guy is going home to his wife thinking, "Man, that chick let me rub her shoulders. I could tag that if I wanted to."
If you've ever worked with a guy or male boss who likes to give guys shoulder rubs and side hugs you know how creepy that can be for you. We had to talk to one guy who was giving men arse slaps like they were coming off of the football field. That shite made you want to punch someone.

Do you fall a little within the spectrum?
You say no hugs but throwing in the obvious issues in hugs with a groin thrust against you and also groping in previous post. Also Knowing some women pretty sure you have had some bi or lesbian breasts rubbed against as well for their pleasure during hugs. Even by accident you may have rubbed your breasts on guys & girls before in a hug.
If you really don’t want any hugs regardless of intent or of thrusting of groins and breasts from men or women why don’t you stop them from happening? Are you afraid of how you will come across when everyone else has hugged each other and you don’t?

It has more to do with the fact that I shouldn’t have to continually tell men I don’t want you to hug me...or to have to push them away.
But I do....I push them off or tell them to stop. Unfortunately that then makes me the “fing b****” and that becomes how people see me. Not the woman who has 4 degrees and has worked her a** off to get where she is. Just the stupid b**** who won’t have any fun.
