I know what you mean.

I ordered something that was supposed to be delivered Saturday. It came Friday.

Hey, my end of the bargain has been fulfilled. They have my money. I expect to get things when I am told they are gonna come in.

If their end of the bargain isn’t fulfilled because they opened up a fulfillment center in the ghetto and staffed it with imbeciles, then yes, i’M going to call and ask why I don’t have the items I paid for.

They’ll either refund it or say sorry and give me gift certificates.

It’s annoying but honestly makes up for the shipping delays. Maybe they’ll get a clue and fix the issue.

Amazon.com Inc. is preparing to launch a business delivery service that will directly compete with UPS and FedEx, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Judging from how it's performed in Baton Rouge, UPS and FedEx are gonna be just fine.

WTF? It's a residential address and I SAW the Amazon van pull up to the front, sit there a minute, and leave.

Or you could be an adult, call Amazon and have them change the shipper priority to UPS/USPS and move the Amazon delivery service to the bottom of the priority list.

I understand people want good customer service, but companies aren't all perfect and a simple phone call would remedy your issue(s)

Unless I saw incorrectly, there was an Amazon center right next to Costco. I wouldn't consider that the ghetto.

There’s a Costco in NBR? I’m talking about the one that looks like a tent. Same one that has screwed up over half my orders. They say “building was closed”. Despite the fact that someone has been home and it’s a residence.

I’ve been a prime member for a long time and have had more issues in the last month or so than i’ve Had in my entire time as a prime member. (I signed up back when they still just sold books.)

Yeah, right next to Costco. I knew there was one in NBR. Just saw the one next to Costco this afternoon, so there must be two.

I've heard many people complaining about it. I've had one issue with them. I called, they apologized and offered to move the local Amazon delivery service to the bottom of my preferred shippers.

Now they will only be used if they absolutely have to be.

Sister had the same issue. They gave her two months of free membership and did the same with the priority list.

Absolutely call them back and do this.

Never had a problem. Usually order everything Thanksgiving week. Have you used wish.com yet Not sure if it's OT trashy but stuff is cheap and probably made in a sweatshop somewhere.

Amazon's delivery service sent me this notification last week. I called Amazon and explained the situation (my business is at my house, and I have a security system that proves your driver never tried to deliver). They refunded my order and overnighted me the items for free. When there's a clear frick-up on Amazon's end, they always make it right

They never offered this. Will definitely do so next time. Which I assume will be this week since last weeks orders are already late

Orders were canceled or delayed?

FWIW I’ve gotten the same response of “building closed” before when I’ve used USPS. Also “inaccessible” from UPS when it was raining . In all such incidents the mail was delivered the next day.

They didn't for me either, but I had a co-worker told me they offered to him, so I immediately called Amazon and requested it to just avoid the issue in the future altogether.

Pretty much all of my Amazon packages are delivered by USPS. I’ve never had a problem. I’ve had packages stolen, but that’s not their fault.

USPS

That is the worst shipping option, why would you want to have your purchases shipped through them?
