I’ll pretend I’m still not looking at tropical tidbits this morning. I’ll also pretend that most models don’t see something developing.
I will, however, not pretend that they have no clue whether it’ll go through Florida and out into the Atlantic or into the northern Gulf coast because that’s apparent. Yall don’t get your panties all in a wad because this is over a week out and the models have no clue what this hypothetical hurricane will do.
Thank goodness a TD expert came in and told us what to expect.

Every model is picking up on it in some way. The ICON was the last one and it’s showing some development now. I expect the NHC to put out a lemon by the end of the week

Hold that tiger really has a hard on for TD Gumbo. What’s the beef?

What's funny is that GFS predicted Louisiana landfall for Francine two weeks out.
Posted on 9/17/24 at 11:38 am to Locoguan0
2 weeks ago it was showing a LA landfall then the next run it would show buried in the Yucatan. It was consistently showing LA until about 4 days out I think.

I fully expect this to be a thing because I’m supposed to be in Destin with my wife next weekend. She’s going for a work trip and I’m tagging along. It’s the first time we’ve had a trip to ourselves all year after having to scrap several. I’ll probably be stuck at work again instead of on vacation. I haven’t used a full week of PTO yet this year and it’s October.
And I started putting up Halloween decorations last weekend cause the kids couldn’t wait.
FML.

I believe he always mistakes my posts in weather threads as being made from a place of expert knowledge. In reality, I’m only an amateur weather watcher and he’s a tard who’s dumb enough to think I know what I’m talking about.

The difference between an amateur and a pro is 10% cone girth.

Is there anything worse than someone who thinks they're predicting the weather because they know how to find the GFS model runs?

Thibadeaux gas compny already staging for throttling operations

Once on tropical tidbits, where do you go to see the models, or whatever y'all are talking about now?

Location maybe but if all the models consistently are sniffing out something then it's going to be something I would think.

GFS is notorious for spinning up big hurricanes that far out that will vanish from run to run. I think it’s useless
