Now calling 911 for you kid drowning in a pool is going to difficult for the officer to “reasonably articulate” the homeowner was involved in a crime. I’m no lawyer but the City and PD are looking at getting buttfricked it court.
Why were cops dispatched instead of an ambulance?

I'm sure they were all dispatched. Cops likely closer and know CPR.

They were asking about the cop, Blake.

Thin Blue Line and Qualified Immunity will get this thrown out of court. Louisiana looks after its dirty cops.

Why were cops and not an ambulance there?
No need for them to even be there

He did cpr in the backseat while driving to the hospital? Cpr should have been started and continued until a pulse or ambulance gets there and takes over i would think.
Just odd for a cop to take a non responsive to hospital.

Jist odd for a cop to take a non responsive to hospital.
Saved his life though, so that's incredible.
All while his colleague was illegally arresting Dad at the scene.

Walker PD are the biggest group of Barney Fife, podunk dipshits ever assembled. They want everything to be some huge tv show type life or death encounter.

What kind of nutjobs are they hiring in the LP?
A job that only requires that you graduated High School and has this much power attached to it ? The lines are fricking endless....

Let's wait for the video. While I sympathize with the parents, I highly doubt it went exactly as they allege.

Dude just thought he watched his kid die and the cop was concerned with checking his ID for his report. He’ll turn in his badge soon hopefully.

Sounds like EMS went to the call. They took the boy to the hospital. Usually on a call like that dispatch will send Fire,EMS and police.

I support police officers who don’t abuse their power. This dude should get his arse whipped for sure.

One officer left and took Issac with him to a nearby hospital — causing Eric Courtney to believe his son had died, the lawsuit says.
I don’t believe an officer taking the son is going to cause anyone to automatically think the son had died, but where was the ambulance?
Is it normal for cops to take someone to emergency room in Walker due to inadequate EMS responses?

Police officers are the WalMart workers of their profession. They require no education aside from high school. You can literally graduate from high school and then go become a police officer who enforces the laws that are made and argued by lawyers and legal experts. Lol

I know 5 or 6 cops and I swear only one of them has any critical thinking skills whatsoever. They're basically drones at their jobs.
It's almost as if policing should follow a comprehensive set of policies instituted in a ranked, disciplined, authoritarian organizational structure.... who knew?
