Done with Destin!

Been going for years on an annual family reunion. 7 1/2 hours from BR and 8 1/4 hours home not to mention anytime you go anywhere in Destin it’s a 30-45 minute drive. Seven straight days of traffic. Soooo relaxing!

I haven't been to Destin in 20 years, but I can only imagine how miserable driving is there. Probably the same in Gulf Shores now as well.

Drive another 30 minutes and get out of Destin. An hour gets you to Mexico Beach. Beautiful water, small town feel. We loved it

We go 2X per year.
Car engine off when we arrive and on when we leave, only.
Outside of 30A where to/from not terrible. Find me at AJs in Grayson for cold beers makes all good.

So you either bring what you need from home or make one or two trips and then spend the time at…you know…the beach.

Hop a flight. Seriously.
It's not that expensive, and you can see and do more interesting things.
Surfing, diving, hiking, no crowds.
