Elon said it because he knew it technically wasn’t defamation.
Trump WAS in epsteins phone.
Trump did fly with him from NYC to Mar a Lago.
But Elon knew it was empty because to your point to think otherwise is to think that Hillary, Joe and Kamala all had evidence he was doing bad stuff and didn’t use it.
And this is during a time that the Biden DOJ was working with DAs in NY and GA to try Trump on garbage cases.

I agree with that.
I have no idea if Trump did illegal things on Epstein Island or not. But I do know enough powerful people did that it would likely be an "all or nothing" kind of thing, and none of the people involved want that to happen. So they just all keep their mouths shut and go about their lives hoping nobody ever has the guts to topple that first domino.
