Domestic light beer drinkers who refuse to drink like brands?

What you say about this OT?
We have an older field hand who has worked his way up to an office so is included in our quarterly happy hours. He’s your typical Bud Light drinking baw. Refuses to drink Miller Light or Coors Light even if it’s free.
We usually pick a place and 3-4 beers to select and the company pays. The office manager mistakenly selected Miller Light as the ‘common choice’ and local craft brews as the others. He bought his own Bud Light on his own tab. Said he can’t stand Miller Light.

i get people have preferences and were raised drinking one of a handful of domestic light beers. But honestly, if it comes down to drinking a domestic you don't care for or not drinking....i'm drinking.

Make him do a blind taste test. Don't put bud light in any of them. Just do Miller, Coors, and Yuengling and see what he says.

I prefer Miller over the other two but if it's free I will drink either of the three. I can definitely taste a difference.

They just did a price increase along with the other domestic brands.. with craft on the come up, you’d think that they would try and stay lower
