Easy, Ukraine.
Technically funneling it through Ukraine back into their pockets.

most of it goes to the military industrial complex and to keep the IRS running.
Negative. The biggest expenditure is social security payments.

Just remember, there are people out there that think people need to give MORE of their money to the Gov't.

Me too but we owe more money. I'll file on 4/15.

What are they doing with all that money they took from me?
Washing it through other countries. One of the dumbest things the population ever agreed to was withholding. Half the working people out there have no idea that's actually them grabbing your taxes before they are due.

Govt at all levels wastes 75 cents of every tax dollar they take from you. The taxpaying public should be outraged.
That's the civilian government. The military wastes 95 cents of every dollar.

Everybody treated the same.
Everyone is not treated the same. You are disproportionately taxing the poor. The poor spend more of their income to survive.
So what is your plan to lessen the burden the poor? Otherwise you are going to have to fill the gap with social programs if you want some form of consumption tax.

Then we argue about which side is best. They got us right where they want us.
This is the part that gets me. Each side thinks their respective side shite doesn't stink. Both side are fiscally irresponsible in their own right. It's a damn shame we can't come together as a collective whole and demand better from our government.

Simple. Either earn more or spend less.

I promise you I think my “side” smells like shite.

When I do my taxes, I am invariably just pissed off for a week or so.
Then one morning, I’ll think how glad I am that I didn’t need a 4-wheel drive to get to work. Then I make my coffee with tap water that I don’t have to boil first. After the second cup of coffee, I have to shite and am glad that I have a sewer system to carry that dump away. When I get off work and get home and watch the news I am reminded how glad I am that we have a strong military that takes the fight to the bad guys instead of them invading America. I am also thankful that we have a police force that keeps people from climbing through my window at night to steal my shite.
And when my working days are over I will be thankful that I was able to make a damn good living because of the degree I got and the student loans that allowed me to attend school. I am thankful that I will be able to draw a bit of money when I finally get to retire and I will have decent healthcare when I need it.

This is another galaxy brained policy prescription from the great minds of the OT. lmao.

Semantics. 10% is 10% - it is the same across the board. When I go buy a loaf of bread, the price doesn’t fluctuate based on my income level.

There is none. If the poor had to actually pay taxes, they would stop voting for shitty politicians that over tax and waste our money.

Nice propaganda piece. The "average American" does not pay the following taxes -- business registration fees, estate tax, and inheritance tax (you will have to define this for me as this does not exist in the United States currently).
It is very simple to avoid "IRS interest & penalty charges" -- and this is not a tax either. lmao.
Library card fees is an odd one -- society as a whole benefits from libraries but "conservatives" hate education so this makes sense in that context I suppose.
"Self Employment tax" is simply just Medicare and Social Security taxes that the self-employed pay both sides of and get a deduction for the EE half. So more double counting taxes by using different names.
State park entrance fees -- another weird one to put on the list as it is not a tax and only applies to visitors who use and enjoy the park. Paying an entrance fee is well worth it to protect the natural habitat.
Overall, this propaganda piece is pretty stupid but that is precisely the audience it is aimed at so makes sense.
