Miss Willie died 16 days after her rescue.
Because of that pizza.

where does it say the didn't take care of her?
Advanced heartworm disease doesn't happen to dogs on heartworm medication.

Should toss the owners in jail
Yeah, let's waste tax money on housing someone who keep their dog from roaming the neighborhood for 12 years.

Pizza night? It's a fricking dog. It wants meat. Take it to Ruth's Chris.
Then why do you make your wife settle for your little chorizo every night.

For chaining a dog to a tree for years and not giving it heartworm medicine?
That's animal abuse
chaining it to a tree isn't necessarily abuse and the dog can still get heartworms even if on a preventative.
inasmuch as PETA was checking on the dog weekly, I don't believe there was any abuse. Otherwise, PETA was derelict in its obligation.

or we could just shoot the free-roaming dogs with bb guns

but that doesn't mean the animal was abused. Might make the owner irresponsible, but not abusive.
and yeah, they can get heartworms regardless of what they're on. At 12YO, the dog had "advanced" everything.

The sexual tension between us just keeps building and building.

They probably fed it vegan pizza.
And do they realize that dogs live outside? I mean, they are animals. Canines don’t build houses

Good for PETA. I can get on board with this.

How much time did they waste on this dog when they could have been stalking the grocery stores looking for food packages that have unhappy looking animals on them?

My dog likes cheese, red meat, and peanut butter about equally I think.
My dog likes everything, including trash with food remnants, pickles and I’ve even tricked her into eating a napkin by getting her excited and saying “whatchu want?!” And tossing it to her. Prolly a bit wrong to do but I was curious if she tasted her food. She doesn’t

My dog wants pizza crust, french fries and peanut butter in no specific order.

First thing after reading these, always have to go give some love to my pup

Miss Willie was treated to “a blowout birthday bash, a pizza night, a canoe ride, a massage, a trip to a fire station and a day at the beach,” PETA said.

Fun fact.
PETA kills the most pets in the US.
