Bouvier des Flandres. Sweet dogs, great with families, highly loyal, and love herding the kids and cats around. Just awesome dogs that I'd like to get one day.

Once you get a golden, you will never get anything else.

My yellow Lab, Nicky, covers all the subject matter for making the perfect dog. My best friend of all times. He even saved me from a very bad attack by a stranger. I never had to see that face again. I miss him, and will always miss him.
To my best friend so long gone but here's to Nicky.

Ours died before Katrina but we loved her so much that we decided that we wouldn't 'replace' her with another Heeler. We got a Vizsla instead.
Most annoying dog ever. Luckily he 'velcroed' himself to my wife so she has it the worst.

Labradoodle. Fantastic family dog. Highly intelligent. Doesn't shed a hair.

I or members of my family have had chihuahuas, basset hounds, silky terrier, shih tsu, scotties and weat highland white terriers. We all agree that the westie was the best.

A little shite eater that someone dropped off. It was a little ball of fur about 10 weeks old. He is still kicking at 16 years old and has been a great all around dog. He looks like Lab/chow mix and he is bigger then most Labs.
I do have two others. 1 lab and a lab/boykin mix.

Health issues will be very individual as the parents genetics are what are important. Generally speaking though, avoid any short muzzled dogs.
Past that, my corgi has been great and is probably my favorite, but I love the temperament of my mastiff. She's probably be my favorite if she had come along first.
