Any recommendations for a trainer and a vet to crop the ears?

Don't. There's zero reason to do this other than "looks", which means you're cool with mutilating your dog for your own vanity.

The freaking breeders association recommends ear cropping. Culturally we have made all these designer breeds of dogs so their ears have become floppy. No pure predatory canine has floppy ears.

Any larger working dog has usually been bred with the idea of cropping the ears for a long long time. As a result, their ear location can leave then much more susceptible to ear infections.

Any of the powerful breed will shke their heads with enough intensity to cause hematoma on their ears. Which they will then shake even more... Which leads to blood flying everywhere.

My kangal had smaller eaes which thankfully did not require cropping. Had they been larger, I 100% would have cropped to stand or short. For safety.

Even with shorter ears he occasional comes in the house with significant tears on his ears from a coyote or coon who figured going into his yard was a good idea.

Your working breeds typically don't even feel the surgery after.

My bad. Got Cane Corso mixed up with the South American Presa Canário. It IS a pitbull knock-off.

That statement makes no sense. Are you saying that this breed was purposefully bred with a defect that has to be cured by surgery? For centuries, the breeders have selected for size, temperament, intelligence, fur color but when they got to ears they said "Hey, we are done here. Let's just cut them off?"

So, chaining the dog to a tree, not feeding it, beating it, having it undergo unnecessary mutilation . . . it's just their dog, right?
