re: Anyone heard anything about travel ball? - TomSpanks
Yeah, obviously they've extended the season this year and I didn't ask about the next two weeks, I asked about the immediate future, i.e. next weekend. ...

Anyone heard anything about travel ball? - TomSpanks
I know this an OT favorite, but has anyone heard anything definite about USSSA or OTC going forward with the mask mandate? Heard rumblings that this was the last weekend for USSSA due to the masks but nothing official. ...

re: The Official 3D Printing Thread - TomSpanks
Great idea for a thread, I just started 3d printing with a borrowed Makerbot Replicator. Last week I ordered an Ender 3 and have a few upgrades already on order too, SKR mini E3 V2.0 with touch screen, yellow screws, and have a few mods already printed. Looking forward to the learning process....

re: Electric dog fence - TomSpanks
Dog Guard, we have about 3 acres "fenced in", was done way cheaper than any physical fence option. We have a Doberman and an English Mastiff, they'll chase deer and squirrels and stop on a dime at the fence line. [link=(https://www.dogguard.com/)]dogguard.com[/link]...

re: Shooting wild hog in my back yard question - TomSpanks
Most important question in my mind is what's behind the direction you plan on shooting toward?
If I can get him in the back yard it's a down hill slope that leads to 1,000+ yards of woods. ...

Yeah, giving the pigs a year while I wait on a suppressor doesn't sound like a good strategy :D...

re: Shooting wild hog in my back yard question - TomSpanks
So, can I rightfully claim to be protecting my property by shooting a hog? I know the sheriff will likely show up, but will my explanation work?...

Shooting wild hog in my back yard question - TomSpanks
I live in Baton Rouge, outside of city limits but close to a neighborhood, we have 4 acres. We've recently seen a couple of wild pigs, can I legally shoot them? I know I'm not supposed to fire a gun but does getting rid of pests allow me to shoot?...

re: 3D printer. Ender 5 pro or something else? - TomSpanks
I've been looking at getting a 3D printer too and I have the opportunity to use a Makerbot Replicator for a limited time. I'm not planning on dropping $2K on my first machine and have decided that I'm probably going to go ahead and buy an Ender 3 or 5. Should I even play around with the Makerbot o...

Look into wraps, they have TONS of them, and they're fairly priced. Makes a huge difference to the finished product (looks and playability) IMO....

Mower Blade Sharpening/Replacing - TomSpanks
How often does everyone change or sharpen your mower blades? I mow 4 acres and after 2 years have just started noticing a decline in cut quality so it's definitely time for me. Also, when do you replace, rather than sharpen? I can get 3 new blades for ~$60, thinking of just replacing every couple...
