I see a divorce in the near future or you take your wife's side and split up the family. Shittty situation who wiped your azz and gave birth to you ? Pending actions on both sides you need to re address. Women will be women and it's usually not pretty.

My mom loves my wife and it would piss my dad off as my mom would drop everything to watch my daughters. She asked to pick them up from school once a week once older and loves when my wife comes with me to go see my parents.
They are both happy to see each other.

I mean how much care yall asking for...and other factors. Given how much my MIL bullied her way into the birth and entire hospital stay I woulda figured she would be watching the kid every weekend.... took over half a year before she watched him solo while asleep so we could go to dinner alone

I think my mom and woman get along. They aren’t best friends but don’t have any hate either. Probably best to keep their distance: harder to hate each other if contact is minimal

My mom flew in from WI and my MIL from CA when we had our son in Louisiana. Both took the night shifts so we could get some sleep and watched him during the day while we were at work. I despise my MIL, but she's never turned down a chance to watch her Grandson.

Days like weekdays or days like y'all are taking a weekend trip? Does your mom work? How much notice did y'all give her?
Cuz I love my grandson and would happily watch him, but if they decided on Wednesday to make a trip to the casinos for the coming weekend, I'd probably say no.
