Does Weed Stink Worse These Days?

I ask this question as a person who has spent plenty of time in my life as a partaker, been on Phish tours, festivals, etc.
It seems like lately there's a trend to make weed stink as much as possible.
Today I legitimately thought I was smelling a rotting carcass only to see some dudes chiefing in their car two doors down from a friend for whom I'm watching pets in his absence.
It smelled like rotting flesh with a hint of fresh shite.

Seems like it. It’s disgusting. The elevators in downtown nola are filled with it, as are the cars passing by on the road.

I have no issue in principal with use, but some downtowns now smell absolutely awful as a result of legalization.

I was in NOLA in October and noticed the same thing but didn't think much of it because it is NOLA. I'm smelling this putrid stench in ATL suburbs.

Yep…I’ve noticed the same thing. You can smell it when you are following a car that the occupants are using.

There’s a pizza place by my house I’ve started to notice the smell when walking around the side of the building. I guess the owners dgaf….also it hangs heavy in the parking garages around town. At least with cigarette smoke outside, the smell doesn’t seem to linger.

100% a real phenomenon. Skunk arse smell from everything these days. I can smell it on the interstate from 5 cars ahead, and round the block at every brewery I visit.
