Does the Krampus have a place in your Yuletide traditions?

As important as Santa Claus is to Children, I think Krampus needs a revamping in western society.

While Santa brings gifts to good children, the Krampus comes for naughty ones.

He bites at their toes and whips them with birch branches (sounds like Darth’s fetish tbh) and if they are very bad, he throws them in his sack and brings them to the North Pole where they have to shovel the reindeer poo...forever.

My kids always ask what the naughty kids eat up there..
I always tell them

Does anyone else celebrate Krampusnacht?

We need Krampus Carols

To the tune of Frosty the Snow man

Let's all sing Krampus Carols!
Oh, Krampus, the Yule Lord,
He's as mean as he can be
If you don't act right
He'll come in the night
To bind you in slavery
Oh, Krampus, the Yule Lord
Skin and fur as black as coal,
With a long red tongue
And devil horns
He'll strike fear into your soul!

There must have been some magic in
Those iron chains he found
'cause when he placed them round your neck
In his service you are bound!

Oh, Krampus, the Yule Lord,
Well he visits every year,
Riding shotgun there with Santa Claus
So you behave out of fear

Or how about to the tune of White Christmas?

IIIIIIII'mmmmmmmm dreaming of a bla-a-a-ck Krampus,
Like all the ones I used to kno-o-o-ow
My heart starts skipping,
When I hear whipping
And brats, screaming, in the sno-o-ow

IIIIIIII'mmmmmmmm dreaming of a bla-a-a-ck Krampus,
To enslave all the naughty tikes,
And I'll sleep peaceful, toni-i-i-ight,
And democrats will steal their bikes.

Merry Krampus!

Is this where people try to convince me that I'm ruining Christmas for a child if I don't also convince him that Krampus is real, along with Santa?

I enjoyed the "American Dad" Christmas episode that featured Krampus. He really missed his girl Sheila.

Traditions like Krampus would rid us of our infestation of millenials, or at least the generation to follow them which will be worse.

Bruh, Krampusnacht was 10 days ago. Do you even celebrate properly?

I don't let my kids believe in pagan things like krampus and Santa Claus

The only present they get for christmas is the eternal salvation they receive from the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ

Really, all of Santa’s traditional companions should be part of our American Christmas traditions.

Zvarte Piet anyone?

Depends on your idea of worse. I'm a millennial born in 1990. The generation after us is very conservative.

This was awesome:

I found myself imitating his speech long after I finished reading it.

BUT

This...wasn't.
At all.

That flick was quite the abomination.

ETA: I like Brom's rendition of St. Nick, too.
A very formidable foe to Sir Yule Lord:

Santa Baws.
Chrome sleigh nuts like a boss.

I mean, does this not look like an awesome theme for an adult Christmas party?
