Peter makes terrible decisions and it's funny and entertaining watching him flail around trying to figure out which way is up, not a good look for a pilot.
I guess it wouldn't be as entertaining if the guy had his shite together, but it seems like all the guys fit the same mold and go for the same basic bitches.

I stopped watching the bachelor when the women kept looking worse and worse. It's all trust fund babies anyway because how else could they take 6 weeks off from work for a scripted reality show.
There were some real smoke shows in the first few seasons. Like legit OT 8s and IRL 9s.

oh i absolutely do not. i spark up, pour a drink and laugh hysterically the entire show, to the chagrin of my lady who actually does take it seriously. now she'll think twice about complaining we don't watch anything together.

i know a dude personally who was on about 10 years ago and was legitimately in love with the bachelorette. he was tore up about it for a solid year after. we'd be playing golf and he'd bring that shite up and we'd rag on him. felt bad for him, actually.

Well then he got suckered. These ladies are trifling and looking for fame. My wife started watching this year for the first time b/c she had just finished the scripted series UnREAL which is a semi serious take on how bonkers these shows are and how far the producers go to cause drama. She has been laughing at just how close that show got to the real thing with how blatantly set up for maximum drama all this shite is. She was just laughing about some Christian girl getting all pissed at the dude for having sex when it's more than likely she is trying to set herself up to be some sort of Christian influencer or TV personality who tours around giving speeches and writing books on how she was able to avoid breaking down to the evil temptations of drugs, booze and sex on the set of the show.
