My kid loves unwrapping presents so we wrap all of Santa's gifts.

I always loved the fun of unwrapping presents for other occasions and wish I could have done that with all of my Christmas gifts...even asked and my parents were like...but this way you can play with them quicker.

Real reason was we had to be on the road by like 8-9 am to visit family in Lafayette. There's a lot about my Christmas mornings that were suck

As a kid I couldn't imagine waking up Christmas morning with the presents just laying there.

Seems like it kills the fun.

Then you missed out. Nothing was more awesome then walking out to the tree and see toys and such laid out before you. We also had a few wrapped gifts from Santa and a few wrapped ones from Mom and Dad.

Christmas as a kid was legit.

Santa did not wrap gifts.

I liked running into a room of presents. Gifts from parents were always wrapped. Best of both IMO.

“Santa gifts” are unwrapped under the tree.

Everything else goes into a big arse bag under the tree.

I never got gifts from mom and dad as a kid. Everything was from Santa. Maybe that’s the difference?

Wrap the presents you lazy fricks. Watching kids open gifts with anticipation, excitement, and disappointment is one of the best parts of Christmas.

I already know my 6 year old daughter will be disappointed about something... She will have more gifts than my 2 other kids, but if "Santa" misses one gift my baby girl will have a long face.

We wrap the santa gifts, because kids love unwrapping presents. Anticipation is half the fun. In fact, each of my kids get their own santa wrapping paper.

We also make all the santa gifts the worst gifts, because I don't want the fat man getting all the credit.

they aren't, unless you're a lazy/poor parent.

SANTA DOESN'T WRAP

Dropping bombs, i’m The Fat Man, call me Kris Kringle,
Red fur suit and a big fat sack,
Bringing toys to the homies like I got mad stacks,
When I come down your chimney, better have my milk and cookies,
Or you’ll see Mommy kiss Santa before giving him that nookie,
I see all around world, who is naughty or nice,
“Feliz Navidad”, santa’s Calling up ICE,
Riding all Through the hood, with Rudolph’s red nose,
Elf Bitches on my lap, I love Ho, Ho, Hos.

No he's too lazy eating cookies and drinking milk while he's watching the elves do all of the work

My dad used to hide the small gifts deep in the tree.

Sometimes I wouldn’t see them and he’ll realize it hours later and give me hints leading to it.
