The fact is he's said so much mind-numbingly stupid shite, anything that anyone can come up with seems plausible. And I have no doubt this was a discussion he had with his advisors.

I seriously doubt the president actually stated this since taking office or even becoming a candidate. I could imagine a teenager getting baked for the first time coming up with this and then quickly realizing it probably would not have the intended effect.

Axios is probably softer on Trump than the huge majority of MSM.

It was actually captured in the meeting minutes that it was said.
And there's a reason it was never tested. It was ridiculous and a terrible idea in the 50s, which was clear then, and it's a stupid, borderline laughable idea to suggest with a straight face today.
As for the banning air travel (not sure who said that or when) and cow farts...I do believe there is actual science behind what they produce and the potential impact of them. But again, I'd like to see the context or who made the supposed statements.
(NOTE: I am not in favor of banning air travel or cows, which are delicious. Though I think that processes or technology that reduce their impact should be celebrated)
