I just stood up and took my shirt off to see which way I usually do it. I'm pretty sure that I do it either way.

This is what I've noticed. My BF is very particular about his shirts not being inside out. I DGAF. It's easier to take it off the way I do. Possibly because my clothes are more fitted, as others have pointed out. When I recently tried to convert to his way, the arms still ended up pulled inside the body of the shirt.

I just grab it by the collar and whip it off into the hamper/corner of the room.

It's the best way.

This is very easily my biggest pet peave when helping with laundry. Nothing worse than being in a good rhythm of hanging up shirts from the dryer and having to deal with a shirt thats inside out.
I told my daughters a few weeks ago that I was going to start folding their socks and hanging up their shirts as is since they cant seem to understand how much of a pain it is to deal with inside out clothes.

lots of easier ways. Women overcomplicate things, which lead them to being BSC.

I have indeed folded my kids shirts inside out. Really. I guess I suck as a parent but I don't have time for turning shirts inside out.

I'm female and cross my arms to take a shirt off but I turn them right side out before putting in the laundry basket.

Socks inside out are my pet peeve as well especially when you turn them right side out (once in a while I'm nice and do that) and grass and dirt fall out ... They don't washed well when inside out!!

When the wife wears multiple layers, she used to take them all off in one motion leaving a snowball of 2-3 shirts intertwined.

I complained at first then I started washing them "as is"

problem solved
