I mean every single one I've ever seen does this exact move. I've never seen one man do this move:

I don't know if you've had a soaking wet shirt, but I know I look like an idiot taking it off the dude way. Not to mention it's extremely difficult taking a wet shirt off the dude way. Only time it's acceptable for a man to take their shirt off the way women do.

That's the answer.
women can't think that far ahead. if they only knew it would save them time on the laundry.

Is there any difference between male and female torsos that might account for this discrepancy you've noted?

Same reason women dance with their arms over their heads. It lifts and accentuates their boobs.

I actually saw a meme somewhere yesterday that said real men never raise their arms above their heads when dancing.

Meh - there are occasions, yes rare occasions, where I throw my hands in the air like I just do not care.

i literally just imitated both motions in the office because i couldn't remember how i take my shirts off.

the answer is both, normally the dude way, unless i've been working out and i'm sweaty AF and my shirt is stuck to my back.

I think this move is necessary because chicks generally wear tight clothing. It does work well for that situation. I have done it when I was really sweaty and the shirt was sticking to me.

Generally I just reach up behind my head and pull over - but I wear looser fitting clothes.

Perhaps. May be due to differences in shoulder width and general flexibility.

Plus, as mentioned, the inside-out shirt factor as well. Stupid broads.

And I think this is the answer, women tend to wear tight shirts, especially compared to men obviously.
