I wear a casual short sleeve or long sleeve button down every day tucked into jeans, mountain khakis, or Orvis chinos.
I only wear a t-shirt and shorts around the house and Sundays after church.

Ummmm... No offense and don't take this the wrong way but how in the hell would tucking your shirt into blue jeans age you? I seriously doubt that you can give me a decent half way intelligent answer that explains how tucking your shirt into blue jeans would "age" someone.
Cutting your bangs short, parting your hair, and smoking cigarettes visully ages people. NOT a shirt tucked into blue jeans.

Everything tucked in 100% of the time.
Even t shirts and athletic shorts.

Nothing's tucked if wearing jeans or shorts.
Tuck if you have to worry if you're in the "belt matches the shoes" quandary.

It doesn't really. Unless they mean from 18-19 to young/middle professional aged.
If you wear plaid shirts and dad jeans, then sure you'll look like Al Borland. But this doesn't scream "ages him 20 years" to me:

I tuck-in long sleeve button downs 100% of the time, unless I'm wearing with shorts. With shorts it's probably 75/25, un-tucked.
Short sleeve button downs are probably 50/50 tucked.
Polos are probably 50/50 tucked.
T-Shirts are never tucked.
