Isn't there a law/rule/ordinance that requires X number of spots based on square footage of the businesses served? No way that property is meeting that. That parking lot is already too small, and they took spots away

I've never had trouble finding a parking spot there. Also the spot in which its being built was a pile of concrete before and no one could park there

Yes there is a minimum number of parking spots for new construction or renovation required per square footage of a business in EBR. It is strictly enforced and the information is available through public record through Planning and Zoning. Wait until it's done and you will see that it will conform.
Anyone else who has built lately in EBR and had to conform would raise bloody hell if the new project got away without conforming.

The bank on the corner is separate from the two other buildings Claitors is doing. They don't own the corner. Claitors has a 5600 sf and a 1900 sf bldg going up facing the parking lot by the snowball stand. The ATM is moving to Acadian side.
