Amen. Seems like they’d have records of who was there and be able to direct their efforts there. I’m just waiting for the “did you chase the skeeter fogger truck on your bike as a kid lawsuit” gonna get PAID.

How do they link any of these common cancers to that one period in a person's life? This is a scam.

Don’t know the numbers on this one but the Roundup lawsuit certainly is.

Tracking exposure rates to known carcinogens isn’t exactly rocket surgery. This feds were aware of the contaminants and did nothing to fix the issue. Instead they covered it up.

We actually do. A mechanic who works on my husband sequipment has been having GI pain and issues and not a single doctor can figure it out. All tests are clear. But it limits his work and he’s not the type to whine at all.

He’s got a history of cancer but all tests show cancer is clear.

It dawned on him when he saw the commercial. He did live there in the time frame. He made the call to the lawyers.

He doesn’t even want money — he wants answers and to be out of pain!

Yes.

His child died of cancer.

My understanding is that the military settled a claim with him due to this death.

Not sure if it's the same radio commercial, but for a while the moderator lady in the commercial was mis-pronouncing corpsman like Barrack's dumbass.

I signed up but it didn't stop the commercials. In fact, they have only gotten worse since then. I think it only encourages them.

I never met him but my grandfather was there. Passed away in the 80s, non hodgkin's lymphoma. My aunt and uncle were there too, they had a miscarriage with their first pregnancy and their son had cancer.

My dad did his basic at Camp Lejeune

ETA He also died of small cell lung cancer. Probably won't be filing a lawsuit though. He's no longer here and someone else may need the help more than us.

Various ethylenes amd Strontium among others. The CDC says they can increase the risk but didn't say they caused any cancers. It isn't as if these are uncommon cancers and people are exposed to various chemicals over the course of their lives.

Under the VA procedure a disability claim will be processed without the person having to provide proof that their illness was caused by the water.

Liver cancer, bladder cancer and drank alcohol all your life? It's Camp Lejeune water. NHL and worked around chemicals your entire life or have a family history? Nope. It was Camp Lejeune water.

My buddy was stationed there. He has all kinda problems. I mean serious issues that they have tried to ignore. You serve your country and unknowingly get subjected to toxins and then denial on their end.
