Does anyone know if SNAP benefits can be used to get a COSTCO membership?

It seems like it would save the taxpayers millions over time. Maybe COSTCO could even set up some kind of discount for members of the program.

I feel like if I was able to buy in bulk I could stretch my money further and not have to worry about running out before the month ends.

1. Plant vegetables and fruits
2. buy some chickens - Eat the eggs while they are laying. When they die then eat the chicken and buy a new one.
These will provide nutrients and protein.
We live in a society where people want to eat steak and shramps every night of the week when they cannot afford it.
In other countries people eat a lot less meat than what we consume in the U.S. If people are on a tight food budget then eat more vegetables

How? Benefits are a set amount per month.
It might allow the money to stretch further (which would help the person getting the benefits, no doubt). But it wouldn't save the program any money.
Plus... I'd imagine the soccer moms that shop at Costco wouldn't be too happy that the government is paying for Shonquita to be in Costco shopping.
The only way to save taxpayer money is to go back to handing out bags of groceries and stop giving them stamps/card to buy their own stuff.

If I recall, EBT can be used for fruit and vegetable plants. That is one reason why stores like Rouses started carrying plants.
But in the few years I wasted planting a garden, I could have bought more food than was produced. That just goes to show you how much we come on a food production stand point where it costs more to do it yourself than to buy it in the store.

During the flood when FEMA put a bunch of culcha (by culcha I mean ghetto folk) up at the movie studio by Costco on Airline the store manager decided to let them in for free on a temp basis. I went to get some groceries and they were wandering the aisles like zombies and the kids were just ripping packages of food open and walking around munching on stuff. If that was every day I would drop my membership.
