know a person that has tried several different mlm schemes. basically when you run out of friends to milk, the sales disappear . got too be real careful about the mlm enrolling new salespeople in training classes that are charged to the individual accounts with future payback. the individual has literally signed a demand note that has to be paid back regardless of who they work for in the future.
they will also require the individual to be a contract employee which means ya got all of the liabilities and no benefits.
any job that requires you to pay for your training and does not include employee benefits is not a real job
there is a lot of 20 years old folks that get sucked in and loose a year of their life

Yes, a husband and wife I knew were in AmWay early on. They quit their jobs in our company back in the early 80s to make a life of it. They both had $50k jobs back then and left them behind.

I have an aunt and uncle who were in Amway for a few years. During that time everything in their house was Amway. Toothpaste, soap, chips, etc.. They must have bombed because it was as if all of a sudden everything Amway was gone and they stopped talking about it 24/7.

I know a guy who works for a MLM company named Team National. I don't know how he's doing now, but in 2016, he was able to pay cash for his home repairs and lost vehicles after the flood.

Knew a guy in the early 80s that got in on the ground floor of Primerica and became a multi-millionaire. He lived high on the hog for about 10 years until his wife divorced him. All those out of town sales conventions with hook ups finally caught up with him. He dead now.

Yes and he made a ton of friends along the way. It is only for a very few select people in very certain circumstances.
He is retired and is very outgoing. It keeps him busy and is having fun with it.

We’re friends with a girl that got in on top of all the herbal life nutrition studios in the last couple years. She’s bringing home 30-40 grand a month now with like 65 stores under her.

How does one "cash out" of an MLM scheme?

I knew a guy who knew someone who became very successful. Wasn't with an MLM company because everyone knows those companies are complete shams but still he was apparently very successful.

False.
I mean, you’re right about the ‘not paying for your own training’ part, and the fact that MLMs are bullshite... but there are plenty of people who work as 1099 contract workers (no benefits) who are very succesful... Hell, i know several in medical/healthcare sales who do really well.

I usually lose a friend immediately after they bring it up

Why though? It's just a question. If you ain't interested you ain't interested. Hopefully they drop it after that.

In my experience those types of people become cult like about the shite and they won't stop bothering you about it

I know a married couple absolutely killing it selling Melaluca. I don't know exactly what they make but both are well into the 6 figures.
