Does anyone here have, "rules," they live by?

The other thread got me to thinking of this stuff.
One of mine is probably one that a lot of people have, which is to never pay retail. I've got a few more, and there's no two ways about it that Kenny Powers two rules (Never f*ck with the devil and never do tag-teams with blood relatives) from Eastbound and Down are great ones.
But what about yours? Besides posting threads referencing females without pics and not posting sh!tty threads like this one obviously is...whatcha got?

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
