Well, you do stay within your limits. Which is why you see your minimal gains. Sounds like you are using the excuse of being short and fat to not ramp it up. Break that barrier and we could be working with something

i know baws that have been injured doing CF. and in a globo gym with zero direction. And playing rec league sports. and walking their dog. and cutting grass. shite happens.

if i ever get hurt doing CF, it will be no ones fault but my own.

Imagine how great Arnold could have been if crossfit existed back then.

One of my baws fricked his shoulder up. He told me what they were doing at the time, and how it was only like a 45 lb bar he was doing.

Rotator is all jacked up.
He's in shape and was when it happened.

Yeah but he was just in a bad box and bad coach. All of the other ones are not that way.

they're terrible for your lower back and knees. do them AMRAP style like CF does.. and the injury risk skyrockets because of fatigue. injuries to the hands, wrists, and shoulders are extremely common.

Of all the stupid, grossly misinformed things I have seen people post about crossfit, and believe me there are many, this is by far the dumbest.

If you are worried about hurting yourself doing a burpee, might I recommend you stick to something more your speed. Like Zumba.

I usually laugh at the "pussification of America" people, but are we really discussing the injury concerns associated with burpees?

What's next, we gonna get concerned about the impact associated with fvcking jumping jacks?!?!
