at 2pm, they put the memorial day doodle up.
they had a doodle up in 2013 for memorial day, but not this year until the public outcry.
seems like they have a new person in charge with different ideals....

I have nothing against Google. I'm not going to switch my search engine because they didn't vomit Old Glory on their site for Memorial Day.
But I do find it sort of peculiar since they have a rep of decorating their homepage for special occasions. I guess for me it's just something that makes me go "huh."

Google switched their "doodles" to be more global recently. Considering the US is only a fraction of their business, do you want them to start having a doodle for every single holiday for all countries they service?

They pass on memorial day and a lot major US holidays. They haven't done memorial day plenty of times. Google likes to do different doodle days every year. I have no problem with it. Some of you get butthurt over nothing.
