If nothing else, this thread should make us all proud to be Americans.
Because Google not making a crap doodle for today is the major source of angst for most of the people in this thread today.

The fact that this happens so regular with Google demonstrates a pattern with them. This isn't just another oopsie, or excusable action. It is a consistent pattern that shows what kind of mindset makes up google.

If this is documented anywhere, you should have no problem providing evidence to support your claim.

Google makes itself look good. All companies do likewise. That's not the pattern that demonstrates their true mindset. Putting a ribbon on shite doesn't make it not shite. It's still a terd.

So you're admitting that you have no evidence to support your claim.

They also do for Cinco De Mayo and other things like that. They probably just realized nobody in the US is going to not use google because they didn't put anything up for memorial day but people in emerging markets may stop using it if they did and they made the decision based on that. Smart business IMO.

Just shut up. I guarantee you they did it as a silent memorial for today and you are just looking for something to get upset about. Go enjoy today with your family if you're not at work.

Yeah, I think Google has different home pages for different countries anyway.

From page 2 of the thread.
So which history, Mike?

Which is what they've been saying for at least the last six years.

Exactly. I find people of his political persuasion to be rather interesting because they claim that everyone else is always whining about nonexistent slights when they are truly projecting because THEY are the ones doing all the whining over non-issues.

1) Link?
2) If true, how is that evidence of their alleged anti-American or anti-military bias?
3) Why do you ignore the evidence that I posted (two links) that shows their support of our troops?
4) What about Easter prior to and after that?
5) Why can't you just grow some balls and admit that you're wrong?

Look it up. This is apparently a very sensitive topic for you. What is your tie to Google?
Settle down, and research on your own. It's not that big of a deal for me. I've noticed their bias a long time ago. It's just a search engine, and I can do without them. Apparently you cannot.

Let me explain how logic works. You make Claim A, it is incumbent on you to provide evidence to support Claim A. For example, I claimed that Google helps veterans and actively seeks to hire them, and I provided not one but two links to support that claim.
You claim that Google didn't do anything for Easter four years ago, then you are required to provide evidence to support your claim.

Logic and reason are very sensitive topics to me. Sorry for being a reasonable human being.
And no, I don't work for Google, but congrats on presenting a rather fallacious argument.

You claim that there is a bias yet can't provide evidence to support that claim.
Also, if it's just a search engine, then why does this so-called bias bother you so much?
BTW, Google is not "just a search engine"...
